Funniest thing I've seen my uro do.

Karu Sep 25, 2003 12:56 PM

As I was writing that last post below, I looked over and noticed my uro doing something quite strange. It looked as tho he was chasing his tail around in circles! He turned around about 10 times before he stopped and stared right at me. I wonder what he does when I'm not around!

that is a good thing< he was marking his area, does that sometimes when I move things around... But he is just too cool. Most of the time only males do this and it kinds means they are happy and like where you have them.

That is really funny when they do their little Circle Dance. Our Mali Uro will go around in a circle about 10 times, and then switch and do the other direction about 10 more times. I call it his "figure 8's". It cracks me up everytime I see it because they get so excited when they do it!

My mali uro has also started doing the "circle dance". He's done it on his log and around his food bowl. The food bowl one was particularly funny because he was following the rim of the bowl perfectly

By the way, Ra's getting very dark now. When he comes out of his hide in the morning, he is very dark coloured and when he basks, he turns yellow.
