Ummm.....if "working with" includes "providing an all-you-can-eat mouse smorgasbord to free ranging L.g.n. in my barn", then yes.....

However, it is illegal to collect them in this state -- so don't even ask!

Wow, tough local game laws. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, sorry I can't help you obtain any cbb.

Just to make you feel even worse, here are pics of an adult in my barn and a youngster from my weeds. They are EXTREMELY calm around here, very easy to handle --

Thanks!

I want to emphasize, though, that they were WC **only** long enough to take pics. Technically, under our laws, I should not have handled them at all -- but I had to move the youngster in order to save it from my dogs, and the big adult was just too cool to not snap a coupla pics.

Yes, I fully understand. I meant W/C ONLY for the purpose of a quick pic and to move them out of harms way, etc...LOL!

Brad Bauserman works with several localities of black kings, and I'm sure he will respond to this thread. Brad is the nigra man!

Brad_Lee Sep 15, 2010 01:05 PM

I am very much into pure locality nigra and have several locales. I am waiting on a clutch of Huntsville, Alabama nigra which should hatch any day now.
Send me an E-mail at: BLB1029@cs.com and we can discuss further.
