boa was docile, now is nippy

storm86 Sep 14, 2010 10:59 PM

My albino has been with me for one year up in ky and was extremely docile and never offered to bite. I moved to FL a coupe of months ago and this past month she has gotten extremely aggressive and has bitten me twice for no reason. Any ideas why she is so mad? It's not a feeding response, or that I smell like another animal. Please help.. looking for answers.

could just be because of the change, the move and your boa needs more time to settle in?
Maybe the air temps or humidity slight changes caused a change in behaviour?
Sometimes they just get grumpy. I've had boas for years that out of the blue will get defensive sometimes.

Good luck!
