new pics of bairdi/rossalleni crosses

Here are some pics of my accidental crosses. They are actually kink of cool. Three of them have kinked spines and haven't eaten yet. The other five are all healthy and eating like pigs.

They look like they act like bairds and sounds like some are feeding like bairds.

Yes they are cool. Pretty pattern now it'll be interesting to see where it goes as they mature.
On the kinks, some of my tex rats hatched that way and with all the input I had I believe that during the incubation the temp at one point had spiked higher than it should have and caused the kinks. What do you think? Will the kinks lessen as they grow?
I feel bad as I'd like to eventually rehome them but who will want them?
Mike.

Yeah, I think it is a high temp. thing. I also had the clutch of ten eggs in a container that I think was a bit small. The lid almost touched the pile of eggs. I think that had more to do with it because it caused to much humidity, which sounds almost impossible when incubating snake eggs, but if they become too wet there are problems. I incubated the leopard rat eggs at same exact temps., with one container on top of the other. The leopard eggs were in a roomier container though, and they came out perfect(aside from the fact that I can't get them to eat yet). Just a thought. As far as the kinks going away with growth, I'm not sure. I've heard of that happening before though. I think it depends where the kink is and how bad it is. I know what you mean though, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the kinked ones. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with any of them for that matter. I'd like to hold onto them for a little while to see how they start changing. Should be interesting.
