My newest Texas male had escaped about 3 months ago...In the house...After a few weeks, we had given up on him and thought he had found a way out of the house...I mean how does a 6' thick black snake hide?? Not a boa or a king, something that regularly coils into tiny pieces of themselves!....Well, we found him this morning in the same room he escaped, stuck to sticky pads!! He appears to be in great shape, no weight loss or anything!!

Probably gone at least 10 weeks...I'm soaking him for a while...And trying to figure out were the heck he has been!!! Carl

Glad he turned up DryGuy! Captive Texans are far too few and far between!

It'll be interesting to see if he poops in the next few days...look for things like cat hair snake scales if he does!
