Kinda looks like the one in the back is an ivory, one up front maybe a pastel ivory.

I would GUESS the one on bottom is pastel ivory because of the white on top of the head. Congratulations

How the hell did that happen lol? I guess your bumblebee must be a low grade yellow belly bee in order for you not to notice. I would bet the one in the front is a pastel ivory, but if you look real closely it has a very faded (but it is there) pattern on the neck and head. I havent hatched out but a hand full of pastel ivories but none of my ever get that faint pattern. Maybe you have stumbled upon an allele from each parents that is on the same chromosome base pair, and we just assuming it is an ivory? I don't know but lets assume its not a regular ivory, because where did they come from?!?! Find out from the breeder of the bee what her history is, maybe just maybe she was from a yellowbelly and got overlooked as "just a bee." If you send me one I will help you figure out what it is =)

If you look at her first post the breeding was a YB X Bumblebelly AKA a bumble bee yellow belly.

Sorry apparently my eyes hadn't fully adjusted to waking up when I posted the reply. I do clearly see bumblebelly now lol. Yeah so the one in from is a pastel ivory than. A real nice one. I like that neck and head pattern.

It was a bumblebelly (Bumblebee YB) that was bred to a the YB.

So the genes are right just can't figure out what I have.

Additional note: The Ivories I have produced previously from YB x YB have all had the faded head that people are leaning towards being the Pastel Ivory. I am also assuming unless one of them starts doing the infamous head shake neither is a spider ivory.

IDK - I was hoping it would be easier to tell.

Sorry it was early when I read the post. I clearly see bumblebelly now lol. With the amount of variation from the pastel it does make it sometimes extremely difficult to tell what you have sometimes. Yellowbellies are also one of the morphs that can be hard to tell a low grade from a normal. I also do not think it is an ivory spider, but I would still say it is a pastel ivory. It should be a lot easier to tel once they shed a few times. The yellow should come through more on the pastel ivory. Sometimes these days we make snakes that you HAVE to breed just to figure out what they are lol. Good luck girl, either way congrats. It's a good thing to be confused about.

I don't know anything about ivory eye coloration, but pastels usually have distinctively paler eyes. That might help you figure out if one is and one is not pastel.
