That's awful! How did this snake get there in the first place? Did he come from outdoors somewhere or get out of his cage?

This seems to be the week for "Revenge of the Rodents".

Just a couple of days ago I found one of my hens dead.

When I picked up the body, I found the rear end of a mouse sticking out of her beak. She had choked to death trying to swallow it.

Chickens frequently eat mice, but they usually argue over it until it is ripped to shreds. This is the first time I've seen a bird try to swallow one whole.

Them rodents are more dangerous than they look!
