lenght of time to leave calcium block in water

I just started using the calcium block and its dissolving but the water is geting milky not crazy gross but not my prefered clearity. Now they need that calcium so thats that but whats the length of time anyone would sudjest letting them sit in this mixture for before replacing the water. Point i always replace the water before adding the block

i never take them out.
but i use calcium carbonate and calcium gluconate PILLS. so maybe the cloudiness situation is different.
if you change your water often enough , though, i'm sure its fine.
