The clutch is out!

RG Sep 16, 2010 10:34 AM

Sorry for another post on this clutch...but it's my first clutch in two years...so I'm really excited!

All the of kids are out...so here's a complete post that should answer some of the questions I've been getting from a few friends.

The sire (Mega Tricolor Hypo Het Amel 66% Het Anery):

The dame (Lambert Vanishing Line Amel) with eggs (thanks Tony!):

The clutch shots:

The kids, all the "Normals" are Het Mega Hypo and Amel, poss. Het Anery, all the Amels are Het Mega Hypo poss. Het Anery:

I really like this pinner, I may have to keep it!

and maybe this is why the dame doubled clutched for me...she loves her chicken!

Enjoy the pics everyone!

Actually another Amel looks really close to that one too!

Can't wait to find out its sex.

Great clutch Rusty! Those are some sweet looking potential genetic powerhouses. That pinner is a screamer! Congrats and maybe the second time around it will get even better.

BTW, excellent shots

Thanks Herb!

Yeah, I know what you're saying...I'll have another fun clutch in Dec!

I'm still hoping to produce a "Mega" hypo...we shall see!

That VP tangerine albino is stellar looking! Is it a male or female?

Fantastic pictures and what a great looking clutch. Keep that pinner for sure.

And chicken?! I've never heard of that but I can't see why a Honduran wouldn't eat chicken. Are you feeding FT chicks?

Yep, F/T chics were on sale...so I figured I would give them a shot.

If you have adult hondos...I'm telling you they will go APE SHIP for them!

One major drawback...the scat is watery and smelly!

But I think it's a great alternate to only rodents.
