New MHD in petstore

spydergirl Sep 25, 2003 01:47 PM

I work in a petstore is SouthEastern PA. We were just sent a MHD with our reptile shipment as a replacement for two others that ahd arrived dead. The little guy looks so scared, and hasnt moved since we put him in his tank about an hour ago. Which is understandable. Since it is a petstore,we tend to give our animals optimum care, and proper requirements are needed. Only problem is tank space. Our collection is of 50 tanks, and so most of the animals need to be housed in a 10 gallon until they are bought(which never lasts long at all) How can i make this 10 gallon more comfy for the lttle guy while hes around?

can you put it sideways?
or put her in one of the Octagonal Display cases?
s/he needs height, and MUST have a dripper, or a bubbler in the water
and from what I saw of the other one (at the other store) feed it some nightcrawlers, along with the crickets (makes for a much more happy Dragon)
Call me if you need

Well Ill try to talk them into putting the critter on display on the floor, rather then in our wall unit like the others.that way shell get a nicer more elaborate setup. I mist her twice a day, shes still so scared. she drinks that way.
