Well, they need lots of space to breed well. That will also depends on how large your colony is. Read a couple posts down by me and others....

I keep mine in a Sterilite tub. No substrate. Egg crates to hide. Dish of water crystals, dish of cat food. 11" piece of flexwatt taped to the bottom of the tub, plugged into my ball python rack thermostat which is set for 90.
Drilledburned holes in 13 of the top for ventilation...and that is it.
There are a lot of videos about it on youtube. A lot of good info.
