Got Bands?

Zappa the baby pyro sure does! 71, or 72 if you count the one double band kind of stuck together as two. This is his third meal since I got him on September 8th. He is growing nicely. I am getting a female from the same breeder (Gerold Merker) sometime next week.

These pinks were gone in a heartbeat!

Looks like you are counting white bands....
I thought the norm was to count the Black Red Black (BRBs).
Very nice Pyro Bob......They are definitely addicting.....
And Gerold has some nice stuff from time to time.....
Great addition to your collection.....

I still got 72 though...LOL

Then there is the confusion between bands from snout to vent or bands from snout to tip of tail.......HA!

HehHeh...
I always count the white bands just because it is easier to see them and they are usually pretty definite whereas the red and black can be broken or in other ways hard to tell. I never count the first band on the head. I'm no expert on how to count (in fact am terrible at math! LOL!)so if there is some sort of standard for the band count hopefully more knowledgeable folks will clue me in.

Zappa has more bands than any pyro I have ever seen. I hope this is passed on to his progeny.
