Hatching!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

crocacutus Sep 16, 2010 06:45 PM

My hands are shaking as I write this. I'm sure you have all seen snakes hatch millions of times, and maybe by now you think little of it. But tonight when I checked my eggs and saw the first baby pipping, I leaped for joy. I can't figure out how to attach a photo so its in the gallery, in the milk snake category obviously. Thanks again for all of your help.

Big congrats.
I've seen it many times but it still excites me every single time.

Very cool man!,....I KNEW you could do it!..LOL!

CONGRATS!

Yeah, no matter how manny times you see it, it is ALWAYS exciting to see what is produced after over two long months!

I don't see it in the "milksnake" gallery though either, and I even did a search for your username as well??

Anyway, if you get a FREE photobucket account, here are some simple steps that will make posting tons of any sized pics and captions a snap to post once you get the hang of it.

posting multiple photos

There are many different ways to do multiples from photobucket, but the absolute EASIEST way is to simply go to your album, then when you put your cursor on any photo there, you will see a drop-down menu. go down and "left click" to highlight the stuff in the "IMG Code" box, then right click to "copy" it when you see it is blue, then just simply paste it in the text field on the forum where you normally do all the typing.

It will look like a bunch of weird jargon, but when you hit the "post message" button....BINGO!, there it is.

You can leave little spaces in between pics with your "enter" key on the keyboard to type in captions etc.. as well.

You can do this with as many pics as you want.

All the image bracket nonsense is all done for you when you do it like I mentioned, it is as easy as pie really.

One suggestion though. To prevent any mistakes from being posted, I strongly suggest that you check things out and click the "preview Message" button to see exactly how it will look to the forum viewers, then you can save the embarrassment of posting screw-up's multiple times like so many do..LOL!

Good luck!

Okay, I will try that ...

7 have come completely out of the egg and are doing well, getting ready to shed. One just pipped this morning. One was deformed , two have yet to do anything but they are still in the inc chamber with high humidity so I am hopeful. The babies look great!

I'm trying to get a photobucket account after I post this message, when I have pix I will post them in a new thread.
