I have a nice blairs 2006 female Loma Alta produced by Mike Russo that laid 18 eggs for me this June! She laid 17 one evening and then passed one infertile egg about 3 days later. She had a total of 18 eggs in her!! Of the 18 eggs laid I got 11 heathy babies(4 males and 7 females).Has anyone ever had any alterna clutches that large or heard of anyone having clutches that large?

Sorry its supposed to say 18 eggs laid by one female. I'm not new to alterna but I am a little new to the forum.

I had a 1st time breeder that laid about 13 eggs this year but most of them were infertile and very small. 18 is a lot though! I'm surprised she didn't have any trouble passing them. Congrats! Any pics of the babies yet?

Yes, if he is under a light it looks almost very blue, but it's just amazing how the much the orange just stares at you. It really can blind someone LMAO!!!

Very nice! The orange is screaming at me! 17 or 18 eggs is a ton. The most I've heard was 14 I believe.
