My girl is losing her colors yet still has not laid eggs. Does this mean it's time to lay or am I in trouble. Please respond

Is she obviously with eggs? Can you see any outlines of any when she stands against glass or what ever? Or is she returning to normal size? The reason I ask is maybe she reabsorbed them and no longer is gravid ??????????? But you would have to expalin more about what she looks like ! Thats one theory ! Eve
