Playing with the camera

I was trying some new lighting experiments. Not the best result. It works better with Hypos and light colored animals. But I thought I would still share a couple pics.

Jason,

I like the black gravel as a background. The pics are a bit dark and the lighting is kind of flat. Maybe some more directionality to the lighting?... The snakes are incredible, especially the pyro. Is that Ric Blair's Patagonia line?

I get frustrated sometimes trying to capture the true color of some of my snakes too! It's an art all it's own.
