now have 1.2 bali yellow head retics 0.2 ready for next yr. Question about bump on nose!

Some ball pythons get it and i've also seen retics with it such as one of my females have. I think it's from hitting the side of the cage when they aren't happy or are looking for a way out. Is there anything i can do to get it to go away? Any help is greatly appreshiated!
