Pastel Calicos...

Scott_Austin Sep 22, 2010 08:17 PM

These little fellas just came out. I was really excited for these this year since I only got to make 1 last season. Same parents as last year calico x pastel and outta 5 eggs I ended up getting 3 pastel calico's, 1 calico and a nice little banded normal. The Flora Fauna line really does some interesting things to the pattern as the pictures will show you.

Not exactly sure what is going on with it. It's pink at the moment which pretty much means it will turn white later. Even in last years pairing a couple of the babies had strange tail sections going on. It makes for some very neat animals at 400-500 grams.

Those are simply incredible Scott. I want them all. I just love the Calicos and those are certainly some of the best I've seen.
