New Post-Shed Baby BRB Pics!!!!

IkeLightner Sep 22, 2010 11:47 PM

Hey everyone, as I'm sure some of you remember, I had an AWESOME litter of BRBs born last month. There were 25 in the litter and lately I have been working on getting them all eating and waiting for them to shed out so I can start getting them out the door.

I have been VERY excited and happy with my results and the beautiful babies that were born from this litter. The female who produced this litter came from our very own Dave Colling and my male is from Will Bird. This is the first breeding attempt and litter from both of these 2006 BRBs.

Anyway, here are some pics I snapped a week or two ago of a few of the babies prior to their first shed cycle. I am working on getting all of their individual pics taken now that they have all shed out and have eaten 3-4 meals each. Let me know what you all think, and I can't wait to get pics of the entire litter posted up!!!!

Let me know what you guys and gals think!!!

Hey Ike, nice looking babies!!

I just don't know on the blushing. I find myself looking at individual scales and thinking maybe but it could just be reflections. Don't get hung up in the blushing aspect, it was something that came up in the litter your female came from and something I thought was cool. Still do!!

Could be anything from markers for something really cool to a line bred phase or even non genetic one off babies.

In a short time we will all see what happens with two blush phase bred together. Hopefully something cool will come out of that pairing!!
