pic and Qs about my new baby

Here's Kellen, the tiny little thing i picked up on Saturday at an expo. onle 2.5 inches snout to vent
ive been misting him/her a lot, and she happily licks the water off her snout. but im a bit concerned because she doesnt show much interest in food. she's eaten a little greens and a few crix, but generally, she doesnt even show any interest in food. doesnt seem to notice crix (1/8) in her tank (20 gal) or even when i put her in their container. the mid point of her basking spot is 104, and ive yet to see her go higher than that on her viney-thingy (the highest point is 114). she pooped a bit at first, but nothing now (cause shes not eating enough to poop...grr). she's on paper towels and the crix arent too big so im not concerned about impactation. too small for mealies or even waxworms to try to entice her. she doesnt explore too much but isnt lethargic either, and shows no other signs of problems.

it doesnt *seem* to me to be stress from the move. what do you guys think? should i try parazap or give it some more time?

here's her first pic she's got a red-pink outline around her spine that i think is absolutely gorgeous, but not too obvious in the pic

i think she could handle 1/4 inch crickets, the 1/8 are probably just too small for her, too quick to catch and too small to entice. keep doing what you are doing, try the larger crickets, keep offering salads. if she continues not to eat you can try a mash of baby parrot food and pedialyte. try to keep the handling to a minimum till her eating picks up, leave her be and only bother her to mist or feed her and see if she will come around. alittle parazap wouldnt hurt if she will taking it willingly, i would give that a try let us know how you make out.. shes a doll!

for them to not eat much for a week to 10 days, and get a little thin, they will put it back on when they start back eating, the smaller they are the more time it seems to take them to adjust, even when they are not stress... everything is new and intersting. If she does not start eating in the 2nd week, you might want to try a little baby food chicken and squash or sweet pototoe to remind her how good a full tummie feels. Also, you if she does not eat them, you might want to get a fecal check on here if you can get something to pass out of her.

thanks, i already wuv her (at least im hoping its a her!) berry much!
she wasnt any more interested in 1/4 inch crix than 1/8. so i guess ill just resist the urge to play with her *sniffle* a little while longer and see how she does. as long as shes not displaying any other signs of problems, i dont wanna freak out about it. she loooooooves being misted though

i also just ordered some parazap; do you think i should hold off on giving it to her? and i got a new leopard gecko as well who is being quite difficult and may have to get into the vet soon...do you know if parazap is safe for them as well?

oh well, at least Kaipo is doing wonderful as always (he got a great start with lisa!) and Dulce is finally starting to show some real growth. yay! and now that i realize im rambling and probably incoherent, i think ill get some sleep

we've often seen dragons that change location or travel be very thirsty for the first week or two... you can alos use an eyedropper and get some diluted pedialyte or gatorade in them too.

Since she enjoys misting so much, if it is warm were you live, take her outside in a tub... just sit by her and mist her when she gets warm, if she is cool with that you can add some tepid water to the tub also (have it ready when you go out) and she if she is not interested in wading in the water or swimming in it. If you can get her swimming, I bet she will start eating, that gets them active and their stomach and intestine moving (also why they poo so often in water) It takes the weight off their legs and makes them use stomach and back muscles.
