My first Spotnose x Spotnose clutch

huff747 Sep 24, 2010 07:39 AM

First time producing a Spotnose x Spotnose clutch. 5 eggs and looks like 1 Powerball, 2 Spotnose, 2 Normal. The Powerball has to have the coolest head of any snake I've hatched so far. Now with my luck this year it'll probably be another girl. So far this year all 3 Albino Spiders were female, as were the Pastel Enchi and Pastel Spotnose, and all my Albinos...

Thanks for looking.

Chris

That is a sweet head, can't wait to see pic when they are out, but I wouldn't be complaining about producing females ever you lucky dog, those are some valuable females you listed, but I know, I know, sometimes you need that male for your breedings.

Great powerball !

In a few years, you won't mind that they are females !

Got to think about the future, and your collection is defined by the females you have. What good is a male when you have nothing to breed it to? I am hording females as we type. That is a sweet pip though, defiantly want to see the rest of the critter.

Well it is a female.

And I didn't mean to imply that females aren't important but I need males too. So far this year every visual combo (albino spider, pastel spotnose, etc) or super (power ball) was a female. Only males I produced were either single gene, or hets. Just wanted males for when the females are big enough I'll have multi-morph males to put with them.
