TOFFEE BALL OFFSPRING - Updated Photos

craigstewart Sep 24, 2010 10:07 AM

I mentioned in my last Toffee post that I would keep everyone updated on the changing process of this unique morph. My last photo post of this girl was about 6 weeks ago and the change she has gone through since then is remarkable. Even the eye color is already changing. If you look at the close-up of the eye you’ll notice the gold at the top of the iris starting to develop. Although I’m watching this morph evolve before my very eyes I am still amazed by the transformation it goes through. It’s unbelievable! There is no other ball python morph that I am aware of that goes through such a dramatic change in such a short period of time. Every time they go into a shed we can hardly wait to see what emerges. This without a doubt is one of the most rewarding snakes I have ever raised. They keep getting better and better looking. I’m pumped to be working with this morph and can’t wait until we see it crossed into more morphs.

Thanks for checking it out!

Best regards,

Craig Stewart

Is that an albino toffee or just a toffee?

>>Is that an albino toffee or just a toffee?

It's just a toffee.

But as baby, they look like regular albino
as they grow, they develop some sort of lavender, that make them look like lavender albino.

And eventually it should look like the import toffee male.
But none have grown that far yet.

I think it's just really nice project !

Congrats on her Craig. She is becoming more beautiful after every shed. Hope to see you in Chicago in a couple of weeks.

Craig,

Congrats on a beautiful snake.
It really is beginning to color up.

Do you think the Toffee Ball are compatible with Lavenders?
They do bear a striking resemblance to one another.

Could they perhaps be variations of the same theme?

Love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks.
