Hello,
I have 2 corn snakes, recently purchased, they are 4' (male) and 3'(female). I had to put them in the aquarium that I had from my former 2' female, which is 30 gallon. Do I need a larger tank? Someone told me it would stress them if the tank was too big. I'm still learning and want to make them comfortable. They are very friendly and pretty calm now -
Thanks
Laura

I think for those sized corns, you should go up to a 55 gallon.

I realize corns are considered more compatable that most other types of snakes, but I would say just get another 30 and separate them. I only have a few corns and they are not my favorite species, but they are all separate, like all of my other animals, just because I dont have time to closely supervise feedings. I think you could get more complete answers on the corn snake forum. I learned a long time ago that it does not make me happy to keep two snakes in a cage for years, without incident, but then to come home one day and find one of them dead, for no apparent reason.
