Steve,
I'm a huge fan of ghosts, but I like those other two as well!
Tim
Thank you Tim. I feel the same way with Ghost corns.
On another note, about what time of the year does your Russian Rats go off feed for the winter. My male that I got from you went off feed in Sept. of last year, and it looks to be the same way this year. Guess I'll be putting him down for brumation soon. Steve
Steve,
It looks like they just stopped about a week ago. Usually the female continues to eat a few weeks longer than the male, but it appears that they're both done. The male surprised me a bit, as he usually "throws in the towel" on eating in late August.

Steve, I agree. You cant beat good examples of the classic morphs. I am partial to nice amels and snows!!! Nice snow by the way!!
I've been on the fence whether or not to keep back the only Charcoal that hatched from this years clutch. Your pic just decided it for me, definitely going to keep her now in hopes she'll grow up to be that nice! I'm amazed I didn't hatch out any snows or any ghosts out of 22 eggs. I did hatch Albinos, Aneries, and Hypos in the clutch, so easily could have produced both Snows and Ghosts but not a one... The odds are funny sometimes.
Here is my baby Charcoal with her Anery brother who's already been sold, and the Charcoal by herself.
Thanks for posting your pic, nice to be off the "fence" on this decision. Now have to come up with a name for her other than "Baby 16" which is how she's currently labeled, and need to take some updated pics. These were taken the day she hatched and she's shed now and had several meals.

That is funny odds that not one ghost and/or snow was produced by your pair.
Glad my pics helped you. Interesting story with my male anery. I was on vacation down in NC. and stopped at a petshop and found him listed as a grey ratsnake. As soon as I pulled him out to inspect him closer, I knew what I had was "most likely" an adult charcoal male. Steve
I can just picture the employee saying something like......"no!, it's a gray ratsnake dude!,.....like I don't know what we have for sale here at the store!"
HAHAHAA!!
Nice animals too BTW!

he was right, it is a "Gray" "Rat Snake" in the most basic of terms LOL... but not a Gray Rat Snake. Nice find. I think I remember reading a post about it, unless it happened to more than one person and I'm thinking of someone elses post.
I did get two "Blizzards" which could be concealing a Snow or Ghost inside. A white snake is a white snake. No way of knowing if it's also Anery and/or Hypo on top of already being Albino and Charcoal. I kept both back and will do breeding trials when they grow up to try to determine exactly what they are.
