containers for expos?????

TSUSnakeGuy Sep 24, 2010 03:17 PM

Ok I am planning on doing my first expo next month. I have redtails, corns and balls for sale. I have been looking at deli cups online, I cant find any near me that will work. The ones online seem a little expensive to order. I was wondering if anyone has ever used anything else at shows to show animals in and sell them in? I could use any advice to help save a little money.

Usually it's almost impossible to find what you need locally. What I've done in the past is found a deli that sells food in clear deli cups w/o print on them (not an easy find) and talked them into selling me just deli cups. I've been able to find them at a place called GFS (Gordon Food Service) but they weren't nearly as good as what you can order. I would really suggest just ordering them from someone that sells them predrilled which will keep them looking uniform and save you a lot of time putting airholes in all of them. Just order a box of them, which is probably more than you need right now, but they'll come in handy down the road as you do more shows, or use them to pack animals in for shipping if you'd rather do that than bags/socks. Another bad part of finding them locally, I ran into a lot of what I needed, but not clear. The bottom would be clear and the tops opaque. Good luck on your search.
