Ever seen something like this?

curaniel Sep 25, 2010 12:49 AM

Little Garnet has the weirdest personality - I've seen her drag hoppers under substrate or into her hide, but last night she was actively *body-slamming* her meal! She'd constrict, unwind, give it the side-eye, and then Bam! Slam it across the cage and constrict again. She did this four or five times! It was thoroughly extra dead by the time she finished playing and actually ate it. What does that mean?

Sounds like she was in the mood for a little "male bashing"?

Not seen that before.

I thought it was hilarious at the time and then started worrying that there might be something wrong with her! But she's acted normal since then.

I'm really good at picking up the oddball animals hehe.

While not within the realm of what I'd call normal, also not something I'd immediately be concerned with. Definitely a wait and watch kinda thing.

Maybe she's been hanging out with Eastern Indigo Snakes :P Or she just likes tenderizing her food before eating it.
