banana eggs hatched

DMong Sep 26, 2010 03:42 PM

Some of you might remember these crazy four inch long "banana" looking eggs from a while back..LOL!

These incubated at 80 to 81 degrees and started pipping at 72 days.

The amel is possible het anery(snow), and the tricolors are both het amel/poss. het anery(snow). The one missing here from the empty egg on the far left is in a different container because it was crawling all over the others and I wanted them to not be disturbed so they wouldn't keep ducking back inside the egg.

Thanks Rusty!.....

I will probably be selling the tricolor het amel female that had these to a girl in Jacksonville, but I will have that nice hypo/het snow service the big amel female I have as well as some others.

Yeah, the eggs were laid by a fairly small female, so she compensated her big eggs width with LOTS of length..HAHAA!!

I was glad they didn't come out folded in half!

Good looking neonates, buddy! Seems like you're having a pretty good year, huh?!

DMong Sep 27, 2010 06:23 PM

Thanks Cole!,.....

Well, not really. Yes, I did produce several clutches of different things, but I got very dissapointed with lots of infertile eggs, and a few deformities too. One of the worst years ever actually..LOL!, but what can ya do?, life goes on man..LOL!

Hope you did a bit better than I did this year Colester!
