I just bought one after a couple year hiatus from the hobby. It's a blonde male that's het for axanthic. Hopefully the photo thing will work for me:

Now I expect lots of accolades not only for the snake but also for my progression as a forum picture poster!

Yeah, i've pretty much decided that Doug's a hell of a guy

good luck with him. Nice looking snake. Where did you get him?

tempest777 Sep 27, 2010 02:31 PM

Thank you, Mike. I got him at the ETHS show in Houston yesterday from a really nice guy named Mitch Allen out of New Orleans. I bought a couple alterna from him years ago that I was extremely happy with, so it was my pleasure to do business with him again.
Of course, now I have to find a pretty girl to go with him!

Very nice suboc!! I know Mitch personally and he is a very cool guy to talk herps with. He is laid back and not an "in your face" breeder and lets his animals do the talking IMO. I got my first alterna ever from Mitch in 1998!!

Holy smoke, man , me too! My alterna experience with him was 2001. Just a real nice guy.

LOL!! He lives fairly close to me and I see him at the local shows and herp society meetings. He was more prominent at the local shows a few years ago IMO. I think most of his stuff hatches out later in the summer and he concentrates more on shows like Daytona, etc. He use to produce some killer mexmex that were so light they almost looked like greeri!!! He also did rosy boas and may still.
