Another show

I went to a show today as well. Now don't get me wrong, I understand that a breeder that spends the money to buy a table and do the travel needs to be able to sell. What I wonder is if the market has gotten to the point where the only thing that's profitable is ball pythons? Even the number of cornsnakes was overwhelmed by the balls.
I just recently got back into the hobby. Is this the norm right now, or was this an anomaly?
Cheers

Seemed to be the normal in my case too. Now i am 'in the hobby' but i don't have time to go to every show and stay on top of trends. I wanted to maybe pick up a glades rat but i didn't see a single rat snake outside of corns. There were balls, corns, boas and the two tables with boas one had Brazilian rainbows like i mentioned. i saw one adult carpet python as well. That was about it. bummer.

I went to a show in Mobile, AL this past spring that had a good selection of boids like rosies and carpets, also some off the wall ratsnakes. I went to a show in Pensacola, FL that had a nice selection as well. However, corns are pretty prominent at the shows along with balls and boas and you usually only find the asian or other NA rats with vendors like LLL or Glades.
