Exotic-Friendly States

Which states are the most lenient towards the keeping of reptiles. This either means which state(s) have the least amount of legislation governing ownership or state(s) that have laws but the permits are relatively easy to get.

My concern mainly regards large contrictors, crocodilians and venomous.

Thanks,

Terry

Obviously you'll have to live out in the county.
But so far they're pretty relaxed here. D.C.

Texas does not regulate Crocodilians except the American Alligator.

Large Constrictors and non-indigenous Venomous Snakes permit is available at any outlet that sells a hunting or fishing license.

$20 to keep them and $60 to sell them.

Unfortunately (depending on how you look at it), no requirements are needed for this permit other than your money and a recording form with current inventory or selling transactions.
