To Brumate or not to Brumate, that is the Question....

Hi

I've got some baby garters, born about three weeks ago. They are eating pinkie parts and rosey red parts.

They have shed three times...

How old should they be before I think about brumating (hibernating) them? They seem so small to me - I wonder how they would weather the artificial winter I might give them... (but then again, I know they would have done it outdoors, had they been born in the wild.)
