only eats worms

dragonzilla Oct 03, 2010 02:14 PM

One of my dragons got spooked when I was taking him out of the cage and he ran of the top of the cage to the table 18". I can get him to chase super worms he eats his greens and can jump up about 5" to bask on a box. How should I get him to eat crickets again. should I starve him? I always put in 5 crickets in his cage everyday and take them out an hour later twice a day. any suggestions

I suggest scrolling down and re-reading all the responses we gave the last time you asked this question.

Dragons don't have to eat crickets and some dragons just get sick of them after awhile. As long as your dragon is eating all his greens and will eat worms (superworms, silkworms, butterworms etc) you don't have anything to worry about. Only babies really need to eat alot of crickets as crickets just are the cheapest and readily available feeder for the voracious appetites of baby dragons till they are old enough to handle other insects, then a variety of insects is best. That and dragons do need to be getting greens in increasing amounts as they reach full adulthood.

As for the rest of your paragraph...couldn't make any sense of it...so don't know if there was any questions in there.
