Citrus Whiteouts (amirs hidden gene)

creativereptile1 Oct 05, 2010 09:39 AM

After so much speculation about Amirs hidden gene pastels he has confirmed a name for his famous citrus pastels that have been throwing some extremely crazy looking snakes.

He is now calling them CITRUS WHITEOUTS.

Just wanted to share this with everyone and I am extremely happy to be working with some of his citrus whiteouts.
Believe it or not a citrus to citrus has not even been done.
I will be trying citrus whiteout lemon blast X citrus whiteout this season

I have attached a picture of a cross Amir made this year. A Pewter(normal pastel) X citrus whiteout pastel cross

The pisture is the 2 pewters that came from this cross, the one on the right being the citrus whiteout pewter(looks like a silver streak) and the left a regular pewter

This line seems to be throwing out crazy stuff in different morphs. Enhancing the pastel and then throwing out some really cool looking stuff that I will be posting later on.

thanks

I have a clutch from Citrus Pastel Calico to Citrus. there were three super pastel citrus calicos, (possibly super citrus). There were two pastel calicos, and one super pastel citrus (possibly super citrus) Amir has seen all of these, he doesn't know if they are super citrus or not. The super pastel possible super citrus looks like a super pastel super vanilla, according to Chris and Sheila from Gulf Coast. The picture shows the three super pastel calicos and the super pastel possible super citrus as soon as the hatched.

Wow, those are sweet!
Those are whiteouts for sure lol
Didnt know citrus x citrus had been done already, they are looking great Mike.

There has been so much talk about the citrus stuff and I have not even seen these yet.
Hatchlings?

Here is a picture of a regular g-stripe, a citrus pastel g-stripe and two pastel g-sripes. The citrus not only fades the head it also changed the body color as well. The g-stripe and the citrus pastel g-stripe are right out of the egg in this picture, the other two pastel stripes are a couple of weeks old and have shed and fed.

Yes Amir, I'm now happy that I have a lot of citrus stuff.

Hey Jonathan,

Didn't I send you a picture of the male I recently aquired? I believe that may also be the result of a citrus x citrus pairing. Although, mine looks a little different then Mike's. The sides on my male are still pink and orange and the top is yellow (where it is not completely blushed out white). I will forward you pics after his second shed to see if the colors change.
