Unusual WC Speckled King-PIED????

lizardlance77 Oct 05, 2010 12:12 PM

Caught an awesome speckled king, 2ft long; beautiful pattern on top......on the entire lower jaw to the neck this snake has pinkish white coloration which contrasts strongly against the yellow underside....any idea if this is indicative of the Pied or the White-sided gene?? I plan on test breeding this snake in the future to see if it's genetic.

Lance

P.S. Tell me what you think--Pics will be posted in a week.

I have no idea but it could be something like piebaldism, especially if it ends up turning pure white. You're doing the right thing by breeding it to find out.

Many times skin will heal from a wound without pigment. Kept well it should diminish over time with sheds.
