Posted below about my Granite clutch all dying in their eggs. Turned out 2 days ago when I cut them that 1 was actually still alive. It was the nicest one out of the 5 and the only one really showing a major Granite thing that I was breeding for. I touched it and it moved, seemed to be alright. This morning it had it's snout out and I assumed it was breathing air. The pics of what I found when I go home from work are below...
John, to answer your question from today, I had 1 nail whole in the egg boxes for air. Exact method I've been using for 4 years and have successfully incubated about 80 or more eggs with. I can believe it could have been a lack of air exchange throughout incubation, but also wonder about a possible lethal combo of the 2 Granite genes.
???
