How long from Waxy Stool?

Z_G_Reptiles Oct 06, 2010 07:21 AM

I know this has been brought up and asked before but on average how long after the waxy stool do you expect babies? I believe mine had her waxy stool yesterday. for the past few days she has been quite feisty, completely unlike herself that has never showed any agression since the first day I bought her when she was stiking at the flash on my camera. Thanks guys for all your help along the way for a nub boa breeder.

about two days, and the moving around is also a good sign. If she's being aggressive to you, IMO it's BEST to simply leave her alone. Taking strikes at your camera can't be good for the babies in her belly. Might not hurt them but why take the chance.

Let me rephrase that, last time she showed aggression was when SHE was a baby striking at the flash, sorry for the confusion. I don't mess with her right now at all, she was moving quickly fallowing every move i did when i opened the rubbermaid to check on her.

lol, I did misread your post but still good info for nub's.

Some moms will not seem to care if you are there watching and even taking pics while they are delivering. Others will get all stressed out even to the point of stopping labor mid way. Only you can decide if your presence is unwanted by mom. Out of dozens of litters, I've only seen a few delivered. Most of the time I simply find babies in the cage with mom after the fact. Works for me!!
