I don't mean to change the subject but why do you put a soda box over the moss hide? I use similar moss hides, but I do not cover and I'm wondering if I'm missing out on something.

I don't mean to change the subject but why do you put a soda box over the moss hide? I use similar moss hides, but I do not cover and I'm wondering if I'm missing out on something.
The soda box gives them more privacy. It is dark. When I find snakes in the wild it is usually under something dark and low or flat on the ground.

My bulls like the boxes to lay around on, too.
