I think the question should be how much do you willing to pay for them?

Thanks.

edenspets Oct 09, 2010 07:07 PM

Yeah... That's not an answer to the question.

I'd guess whatever the common price for a het albino plus the common price for a het pied plus $50. Sounds funny, but I am not joking. I've been cruising double het something prices for a while.

So by that method I'm guessing around 700 to 800?

Bolitochrome Oct 09, 2010 07:34 PM

Depending on the breeder, that sounds about right.

Im sure am glad that isn't really how it works, because I sure would stop making/selling double hets. $290? Maybe your formula would work a lot better if you multiplied the common price for a het albino by 4 and then multiply the common price for a het pied by 4 and than add a couple hundred lol. At $290 it isn't even close to worth your time. Your are going to pay over $1000 a pair for any hatchling double hets. lol

I sold my 2010s for the following:

$1200/pr
$200 lone males

Sold my breeder DH male for $400 this yr as well...

Seen ALOT of DHs made this yr, males r a tough sell w/o a female as most get held back...

Last year I sold a male double het pied clown for $1000

This year I traded a pair of 2010 double het pied clowns for a 2010 male desert.

I now have 2.5 double het pied clowns, hoping to try and produce the double morph as early as next year. The 2 female double hets I held back last year are now just at 1000 grams.

Like I said in an earlier thread. If you produce a clutch of double hets I think it would be wise to hold back 2 males. If you only hold back 1 male and it dies, so does the project.

Good luck
