First leo came home today

I am sooo excited I will post pics if everyone wants to but ill have to temporarily "borrow" one from work. At first he/she wasnt moving around at all. But it has started to move around and explore a little. It seems to run away and hide when it sees me, then keeps an eye on me. I hope that habit will fade quickly lol.

Your first leo is always a joy. Hatchlings and young geckos spend a lot of their time hiding, usually coming out at night to hunt and explore. Just let him do his thing, and try not to disturb him much the first few weeks while he becomes accustom to his new home. As he grows, he will recognize that you are not a threat, and that you bring him all those yummy insects. Again congrats, let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

I have a juvenile in a 10g aquarium with two hides. One on the warm side will have moist something in it before too long. I have an UTH and a 60w light bulb on the warm side to simulate day and keep the tank heated. I will post a pic of him when I can get him out of his hide Guys at the Aquatic Critter said they were feeding the juveniles everyother day so I will put some mealworms in there for the first time tonight. I just hope he/she can find them
