I really like the first and last one a lot. What morph is the first one?

The 1st one is a Jelly male (very orange one at that) i hope to refine that look!

Thanx

Thanks for posting. Is the first one a jelly? Really like that one.

ZFelicien Oct 10, 2010 09:05 PM

You've got it! it's a jelly. i actually had that guy up for sale for over a year (no takers?) then after getting a low offer on him i decided to pull him and keep him! Gorgeous animal in person.

Thanx Andy!

All those shots are just knocking my socks off! How did you do this; like, with what sort of camera, etc?

Believe it or not it's just a sony point and shoot camera. That is Sony DCS-T200. There are better models out now.

1. Camera was on macro setting (icon looks like a magnifying glass over a flower)

2. Flash was off

3. I use full zoom (well what's "allowed" using macro) as to not get toooo close to the animals (but i did get pretty close... zoom sucks!)

4. Florescent/White overhead lighting (shots taken in a bright room during the day... lots of natural light too)

5. I left the animals in their enclosures (less spooking/less moving)/place enclosure on black surface (t-shirt)

6. Get the desired shot... point n shoot

It seems like a lot but it's really not, for the most part getting animal to sit still is the most difficult part.

This camera a has an automatic focus and an indicator beep when the shot is in focus... well some times that takes long and the snake is out of the shot before the camera's focused. Other than that it takes great shots!

These are the very 1st shots i took with this camera: Lucky for me the animal didn't move for about 30secs.

Thanks! I have a little old Cannon A300 point and shoot, similar to yours, what with the macro and all. Now to more thoroughly read the users' manual! LOL!

Maybe sooner.....LOL
The sulfurs and sulfur lavs have already grabbed my attention....
I want to see a hypo sulfur lav jelly.....LOL

I think a pair or trio of multi hets would suit me better since I enjoy a variable clutch.........

"Sulphur line Hybino-Jelly" to be exact! I'm sure if anyone produces one the name will be shorter (well i hope!) That project is easier than one may think, just takes a good eye and some work. who knows i may accidentally produce a few eventually?

Multi hets are cool but some times they don't work out as you hope.

I've been breeding a pair of 3x hets (Lavender, Axanthic & Hypomelanistic) for 4 years:

1st year all the eggs kept going bad and she 3x clutched that year (small clutches 3-4eggs as well)

2nd year (some 2x clutching): lavs, Hypos, axan, Ghost, Snows and Hybinos, poss hets.

3rd year, one or two hypos, and poss hets (clutches of 8-10)

This season ... NO NORMALS and that's all i can say

so multi-hets have their "ups and downs"
