lemon pastel???

zippy00_99 Oct 11, 2010 07:56 PM

I received a pastel from someone on craigslist about 1 and 1/2 years ago. She was one of, if not THEE prettiest (in my opinion) one I had ever seen. I had attended 2 Tinley park shows, and many many many Lee Watson/(now) scott smith all animal expos, so saying that she was the prettiest, is saying a lot. I asked the guy where she came from, and he said that it was one that he produced, but I didn't ask what line he was using at the time, because I didn't care then.

I don't remember his name, but his business was called DBM Reptiles, near the Chicago land area. When I tried to call him a year later, he wasn't doing snakes anymore, and said he didn't remember anything about the pastel line, so...

She is a little older, and browning up a little now.

Could some one please study the pics and let me know what line she might be, and why???

I would really like to hear that she is a Lemon.

I don't know anything about telling Pastel lines apart but wanted to say that she sure is a Beautiful Pastel no matter what line she is! I didn't know DBM was out of business. The Spider in my below post came from them. They were very nice to do business with.

We give a s$*t, hard to say though, so many lines have been crossed. I just call them all pastels and keep back the nicest ones.

I'm with Milkman. To me pastels are pastels. Some look nicer than others and some...well, then again Amir's line of "Whiteouts" are pretty crazy looking.

But pastels are pastels unless they carry a special gene like the Fader.

Good luck!!

Yeah, I definately plan on getting a whiteout.

zippy00_99 Oct 13, 2010 09:01 AM

I plan on doing that too, but I would love to know if she is a lemon or not. I have ruled out Graziani, and Ruppel.
