Super worms and greens

dragonzilla Oct 12, 2010 11:47 PM

Yeah I know you guys have done this before but still wondering. Now that I've feed my dragons were served superworms for a week they now won't eat crickets or their greens. Should I only offer greens only for a couple of days to get them to eat their salad? Also they have diarrea from only eating superworms. their are not losing weight but still gaining. and their belly is round so their not starveing . What would you do to get them eating greens again and back to crickets. Should I starve them? also are extra running wet stools a sign of unhealthy dragons? If you got a minute thanks

if I recall correctly, you have adults. I would offer greens only...just give a few worms on the salad every other day or none at all till they are eating greens again. It may also take some encouragement to get them eating greens again. I typically just dangle pieces of greens cut in a 'string' about two inches long, quarter inch or so wide...and just wiggle it like a worm. My female will eat it most of the time and after a couple pieces, happily starts to eat the rest of her salad on her own.
