Love is in the air! (Beginner's luck)

I picked up my first pair of squamigera in August at the Daytona show. They were being sold on consignment for a woman who raised them up from babies. At first, I thought the female might have been gravid (she certainly looked it) but it turned out that she wasn't. We had a good storm come through tonight so I cracked open the window, misted them heavily and introduced the female into the males cage. I came in a couple hours later to find them locked up. (The pic is pretty lousy because I didn't want to disturb them).
This is my first time keeping any Atheris and they have just been fantastic animals to work with so far!
(By the way, this pic was taken under low light and doesn't do these gorgeous snakes any justice)

Thanks to Derek Morgan for the breeding tips and advice!

I'd also like to thank the snakes....since they actually did the work and all I did was sit in the dark and take pictures

Do you have two red ones? I wonder what colors you'll get? Those sound like a lot of fun to breed.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?

Yes, I have two reds. I could end up with any assortment from this pair but more than likely I'll have a disproportionate amount that look like the parents.
