WHAT IS A BLIZZARD LIZARD?

bmills May 26, 2003 11:51 AM

I found a 4 inch lizard at the pet store which they called a blizzard lizard, and all of the stats for it were the same as a leopard gecko. I am curious if a blizzard lizard is a type of leopard gecko. Is it just a blizzard leopard gecko? I currently have an albino and a normal leopard gecko and I want get the "blizzard lizard" and put it in with the 2 other females I have right now...but I want to make sure it is a type of leopard gecko first before i did that. So please let me know. I appreciate the help, thanks.

There are blizzard leopard geckos if that's what you're inquiring about. Sub-adult females can be bought at lllreptile.com for 65 dollars. Here's a pic of one..

Prehistoric Pets dubed their new white patternless leopard gecko a "blizzard lizard". They felt this best suited their new morph and it has a ring to it as well.
