he opted to no longer import. why i am not sure. i was hoping to get some of his babies this year as well. he was semi active on another forum a few months into last season showing pictures of balls that were sent to him from his exporter.
no one i know of has stepped up to take over where he left off, he definatly filled a niche. outback has some outstanding animals but they didnt advertise even 10% of the ones david had. i purchased a super nice extremely reduced male from them that was a 2010 ch. if anyone else knows why he chose to no longer import please let me know.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.
The importing of "fancy stuff" has decreased DRAMATICALLY over the last 2 years. Even the large pet shop chains are having to buy captive bred animals -- not a bad thing!!!! Some visual morphs make it out, but the crates and crates of hatchling AND the gravid females seem to near over!!!

i know their is a huge amount going to the asian market for food. and i agree that the crates and crates of them not being imported is a good thing. but i still appreciate the special and fancy balls coming in. but thats just my opinion.

I appreciate the kind words and the inquiry.
Due to time and money constraints I had to step away from ball pythons altogether. Taking care of hundreds of animals is a full time job and once I felt that I couldn't give them the best care possible, it was time to move on.
I was proud of bringing in new morphs and I hope everyone remembers where all of our base morphs come from before they start getting down on importing. I was never a fan of importing thousands of normals and gravid females..but new genes are a different story.
