Dont you just love the "Fiesty" ones!!!

paulbuckley Oct 18, 2010 01:39 PM

not really. i sort of despise them! funny how it's categorical to morphs - i've never had a nasty albino and i've had many and they are always sweet. but anything with cinny in it often makes the meanest babies. mojaves are tough too. most ball yearlings that do bite will instantly let go. this one holds on a bit just to let you know how much she means it.

LOL, it's when they smell rodents on your hand and they decided because your warm enough, you moved your hand just enough and smell right to them from handling feeders that you must be right in it's little mind! Then the darn critter goes ahead and throws a coil around your hand and proceeds to grind those sharp little teeth into your hand/fingers etc that's when it starts to sting a little bit and make ya cuss, lol ! Running water does the trick to get them unlocked I found for those that are really persistant or narrow minded per say...

I've got a male that even running water won't stop if you smell enough like rodent. A series of stupid, complacent mistakes got me bit, and this guy was intent on eating me! I tried cold and very warm (not hot) running water. Even poked him in the eye a bit. Finally he must of gotten tired when my hand wouldn't "die".

Needless to say, even though this male is normally a dream and very sweet, I am more careful about what I smell like before I open his tub!

I always found out that my pastels are a little "meaner" than my normals...anybody thinks the same?
My male cinny is very tame, but a female I got in Daytona this year is quite the opposite!

I puchased a Pastel female as a baby. Everytime I went into her cage, she would hiss and huff and puff but never not once struck at me. I had her all the way up to 1000 grams and everytime i went into her tub she hissed huffed and puffed but never took my arm off.

I sure hope you didn't pay full price for that snake.
I mean it IS missing half of its pattern.

All jokes aside, I am in love with the spacey, gap-filled pattern on that snake.

Congrats.
She's nice to look at. Perhaps someday she'll think the same of you. .... lol
