husbandry question

haven't posted in a while but read regularly - anyway, i want a boa and won't be happy til i get one - i sold a great dumeril's a while back cause i had small kids in the house at the time - got a little nervy about that - thats changed now - just me and my 12 year old son - really loved the dumeril's - just urinated a bunch - read that they are known for that - so, a couple of questions - - -the temperature issue - i've read everything about temps i can find - the problem is as is for many people i'm sure is finding a room where i can maintain the proper ambient without making that living space uncomfortable - i kept my dumeril's in a room that would swing from 68 to 75 depending on the season and my a/c t'stat setting and she seemed to do fine - basic setup - uth on one side with lamp dimmer to control - checked daily - all was good - so question is - particularly for a "few" snakes owner - how do others handle this - secondly - after it grows - i have a great place under my steps going up to my bonus room where i can create a fantastic, safe, sturdy, secure enclosure but here's my question - it is in the same room as my washer/dryer - woul the machines running create a harmful or aggravating vibration for it - the room ha a vinyl floor would it be bothered when the machines run??? - sorry for the long post

68-75 is fine, depending on what kind of caging you're using, as well as what you're keeping in the cages. Can you give us an idea of what caging you're going to use (or are thinking about purchasing to use) and what kind of boa you'd like to have in them?

What's written above is purely my opinion. In fact, MOST of what you read on the internet is someone's opinion. Don't take it too seriously
