Hello, Curious. How many of you actually cool you ball pythons. meaning temp drop or no night heat. Im new to the ball world, worked with Geckos and boas. I have an AP cb 70 rack ,the economy line. With my room temp at 72 -74 at night , should I drop the heat tape temp or cut it off at night .Its at 92 for the hot spot .. care to share some info ? Thanx !

My snakes stay in the laundry room which is in the front corner of my house. I never adjust the temps on my helix, because the outside temp dictates what the actual room temperature is. The ambient temp is naturally cooler in the winter. Even if they weren't in the laundry room the whole house temp is cooler in the winter than the summer. Summer average temp is 78 winter average is 70. Hope this makes sense. Chris Hall
