Last time I was there as a vendor and it was awful! That show has been going downhill for some time now.

Unfortunately I have to agree.I'm just going to look for some dry goods and feeder rodents. Jeff

there are a lot of small breeders up there with awesome animals and its not worth their time to come out and setup anymore

Many of the shows are feeling the weight of this down economy.

I do a bunch of shows in the southeast, and yeah, they are a little slower than normal for this time of year, but not that bad. The last time I did Richmond I think I sold two snakes the entire day, there just weren't that many people through the door. Its a similar situation in FL right now, show saturation, I did Tampa a few weeks back and heard "I'll pick it up in Orlando next month" so many times I wanted to puke!
Shows like Columbia, Atlanta, and Charlotte are doing great...there are 3 a year in each so no saturation.

can't sell corns at Atlanta show, though. Georgia has tough laws on indigenous species.

yeah I meant to ask, other then the corns, obviously, does the Atlanta show usually have a good turnout? And good selection?

I have always done very well in ATL, the crowd is usually decent, not packed but they are there, and they show up intending to buy critters. I take dry goods too and usually do great with those as well. This goes for both the Repticon shows and the GA Herp Society show.
