hey guys ... i rescued an iguana bout 4 years ago and he has gone through a couple of living environments already .... well its time for another "upgrade" to his cage and this one is gonna be the grandaddy of them all ... i ran into a problem though and i havent been able to find any information to help me in this hour of need ... i mean Reptar is counting on me to come through for him ... here is my problem ... i have been collecting branches and wood to furnish his new mansion and i am starting to hear that some wood i have i shouldn't use ... like cedar .... well i have this AWESOME piece of cherry wood i want to use but i heard that at least some parts of a cherry tree are toxic to horses, cows and such ... is the wood toxic to iguanas? i heard from someone else that cherry was ok .... AAAAHHHH!!!!!! ... can u guys help? ... ive treated all the wood with bleach and water for 24 hours and sprayed them off real good afterwards .... these are BIG pieces ... i can't find sizes like these in any stores ... so i could really use some help or direction .... thanks a bunch ....
